Veterinarian/Clinic Owner
Dr. Sam has worked more than 15 years in a Small Animal practice, as well as Emergency Medicine and General Practice. She is keen on Spay/Neuter and other soft tissue surgeries.
She completed the Veterinary Skills Enhancement program conducted by Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph University. She has completed both Canadian and USA Veterinary license’s.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids. She is known for her knowledge, compassion and laughter!
Dr. Hewa, DVM

Veterinarian/Clinic owner
Dr. Hewa has worked over 20 years in a Small Animal Practice and mixed Animal Practice. He graduated in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sri Lanka in 1999.
He has worked in New Zealand, Australia And Saudi Arabia. He is a fully licensed veterinarian in both Canada and USA.

Tracy joined the clinic in May 2023 when she rejoined the workforce after being a stay-at-home mum to her two children. She loves working with our patients and developing relationships with their owners.

Adeesha is the son of Dr Sam and Dr Tarun. He has been helping his parents since he was little. He is always ready to greet customers with a friendly smile and help however he can.

Maya is a veterinarian student at the University of Calgary. She brings her passion for animals to Ranchlands, and her happy spirit is always ready to welcome our clients.

Mahin graduated with her Veterinarian Healthcare Assistant Diploma in 2023 and has been with the clinic since September 2023. She has worked in several veterinary hospitals and brings her joy and experience of working with different animals to our clinic.

Grace came to Ranchlands originally as a volunteer. She is hoping to go to school to become a vet tech. She enjoys helping our clients and saying hello to our furry friends.
